Day 3 : Langkawi Airport

We suppose to return the car at 9.30pm but the time we arrived airport was only 8.15pm. Since we do not want to wait in the car so we just call the car rental and told them we already arrived. The car rental official arrived 5 minutes later and refunds our RM50 deposit without check the car. This surely is a hassle free car rental deal.
Although I already used my mobile to check in but we still have to queue at the normal check in counter, as they have no express counter at all. Lucky, they are not many people queue there, so we just spent about 5 minutes to queue and check in.
Free WiFi is available before enter to waiting room. However, you have to sit facing the restaurant, so that the signal would be stronger. I tried to online by sit facing the duty free shop, wireless is showed connected only but could not surf. By the way, waiting area has no free Wifi. However, if you buy food from the cafe behind waiting seat you could ask for their WiFi password.
Flight departired early about 10 minutes. Not many passengers in flight and we could sit freely.

Day 3 : Restaurant Lucky at Pantai Cenang

Previously, Pantai Cenang was not a very popular tourist attraction in Langkawi. However, this trip let me know that Pantai Cenang already become famous and there have many hotel and restaurant that very Balinese feeling. I feel like it more for International Tourist, I seldom seen Malaysian there already. Even some restaurant also owned by foreigner. Kuah City is no longer as merry as previously already.
Ok.. Back to today dinner at Pantai Cenang. Fatty wants to have a Chinese style dinner since we had western food last two days. We picked to have dinner nearby Airport and Pantai Cenang is most suitable already.
We went to Lucky Restaurant that just located at roadside. However, I am very regret to have dinner at Pantai Cenang and not at Kuah. Frankly, this restaurant food is much expensive than Restaurant Teoh that we went at Kuah last night. For example, At Restaurant Teoh, Crab is selling at RM50 per kg, which is already expensive than KL. But Lucky Restaurant selling it even more expensive, I almost faint when I saw the price of Crab is selling at RM70 per kg!
Due to fear of paying extremely expensive dinner, I did not order any seafood or fish this time. I only order vegetables, tauhu, special homemade stuff chicken wing and one don’t know what name vege dish (inside is mushroom and carrot etcs that covered with fried eggs).
Guess how much this dinner cost us? Total RM76.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Well, I don’t think this is call cheap for only 2 chicken wings and 3 vegetables dishes.

Day 3 : Chocolate Shopping & Sunset at Langkawi Airport

It was just 4.00pm after lunch at The Loaf. We drove to Kuah town because is time to buy duty free chocolate as Souvenir already. We was not know where to buy chocolate already. Take a round in the town, drove to Jetty Point Duty Free Complex then drove back and past Langkawi Mall, Langkawi Fair Shopping Complex and then to the main road, then don’t know where to go already. So just stop at the Teoh Soon Huat Department Store that we visited previously.
I bought the ferrero rocher chocolate in 30 pieces per box at RM25.00 each. There are further discount for more purchase, but I didn’t check it out since I am not planning to buy many. haha.. I also bought other chocolate and nugget there. I saw the red wine in box recommended by my sister is selling there too. It is a 5 or 6 Litres (forget actual litres d) red wine packed in a box, selling around RM40.00 – RM60.00 only. Too bad, there are too much for us and too heavy too. We scared it would make our luggage overweight, so no buy lor.
I voluntee to drive after shop at Teoh Soon Huat Departument Store. I think Fatty is very tire already, he is always feeling tire when travel with kids if compare to work. Well, ok lah.. since I took a short nag in car after lunch already, so is time to let him relax a bit lor.. There is no problem to drive in Langkawi lah, except the proten saga seem very narrow, the brake and pedal are too close to each other, I am so scare my big feet would wrongly step on the pedal instead of brake. :p
We stop at the road besides airport since no where to go already. Besides that, I have to repack my luggage again with the shopping spree bought afternoon. And also let two girls napping in the car at the same time. There are few lorry selling snack and cold drinks at the road side, I remembered previously don’t have stall like these. haha
Here also is a good place to relax and watch sunset. I been to Langkawi many times already. This trip should be the third times I stop here and watch sunset. I still remember the very first time watch sunset with boyfriend (husband now) here many years ago. Really different relationship different feeling.

Day 3 : Lunch at The Loaf, Perdana Quay

It was already 3.00pm when we leaved Berjaya Langkawi hotel. We are very hungry now, so we went to the closer place to have our lunch. I heard that The Loaf is located at the Perdana Quay only. So, we decided to have our late lunch there.
It is hard for you to see restaurants in the Perdana Quay without get out from car and walk to the back of the building. We seen only 1 or two restaurant from the front building only. Lucky we saw The Loaf signboard there, so we just parked the car and walk to the back of building. wow.. There are quite many restaurants ..hmm…maybe not many but at least 3 – 5 restaurants with very nice renovation.
Above is The Loaf Restaurant located at the back of Perdana Quay.
See.. Whole row of building are restaurants ler… I think here would be a beautiful place to paktor (dating) lor…
Having a romantic candle dinner infront of boat jetti. haha
Ok..back to The Loaf restaurant, belows are the menu. Price is not cheap, about the same price you have in Kuala Lumpur Western food restaurant.
Environment in the restaurant. Wifi is available in the restaurant too.
Bread counter, I selected two breads for Kiki here.
Comfortable sofa.
I forgot all the name of above dishes liao.. haha.. Anyway, taste is good and real western taste. Total cost us about RM120.00, this most expensive meal in our Langkawi Trip.

Day 3 : Leisure Activities With Kids At Berjaya Langkawi Hotel

What we do in the last day of Langkawi trip? Done nothing haha.. We don’t even go out for breakfast. We bought some instant noodle and bread as breakfast in chalet. We wake up at 10am, then only enjoy our breakfast slowly. Today would be the day let the kids enjoy in Hotel Swimming pool.
Yesterday, I already asked the hotel receptionist if we could late check out but they said we could only keep the room until 1pm only because the room already reserved by other guest. I told them our return flight is at night and we are planning to play in the hotel swimming pool and beach. Then, the staff told us we could still continue to spend time in the hotel and they have a compliment room for us to take bath and change cloth after that. We only have to request at the counter then they would give us the room key already. Wow.. so good ah..:lol:
So..We checked out at 11am and keep our luggage in car first. Oh..you could also store your luggage in the hotel if didn’t rent car. Then, we continue to play in the swimming pool lor…
Above is a massage pool, which less than 1 meter deep.. I am playing with SQ and Kiki here most of the time. And Fatty has his sunbath on those chair lor.. A very good excuse for him, help us take care of bag wor..
After 1 hour play in the massage pool, Kiki wanted to play in this “baby” swimming pool already. She just lying at the pool and pretend swimming.. haii… I hav eno energy to play with them after that 1 hour already. So, is my turn to relax and Fatty take turn to take care them. Fatty complaints he is very boring there, Kiki and SQ playing with few Ang Moh children and ignore him.
Here is another playground for the kids. SQ and Kiki do not have chance to play here because it was too late when they remember this playground.
Four of us are very tire at the time of 2.30pm. We decided to leave liao.. I went to counter and told them we need a room for shower, then they straightlyfill up a form, let me sign and then gave us a key already. We took shuttle bus to that room at the lobby. It is another chalet that nearby lobby actually. It just so good to have a compliment room for shower and change clothing. 4 of us take turn to bath, and relax and lying on bed while waiting. I have enough time to dry Sqkiki;s hair and even my hair. Then only slowly walk back to lobby and returned the key to them.
Very good services hotel.
