KK Day 1 : Walk To Filipino Handicraft Market
By admin | March 17, 2008
Two men went to search if there any car rental agents nearby after the lunch and we ladies, children and senior citizen walk around to nearby shopping center. We have a simple visit to Center Point, nothing much to see, it just a small shopping center that look alike KL old style of shopping center.
We head to Filipino Market after that. We just across the road and saw it already. It just in front of Marina Court Condo actually. Not enough 10 minutes to reach there.

This is Filipino market, I didn’t know it is actually. I thought it just a huge “coconut stall”. Half of the stalls are selling coconut drink. After I look at the Kota Kinabalu map again then I only know that it actually is Filipino Market also. No wonder all the seller speak English but not Malay. ![]()

This is what other stalls selling besides the coconut drink. Sabah shu cai choy.

Pass through the coconut stalls we reach a fish market.Opps..a closed fish market, it is already 3p, of course all closed.

This is the real Filipino Handicraft Market

Selling all kind of handicraft stuffs. Hmm..sorry that I am not very interested in such things, so less photo of it. :p

This was the thing I am interested to know more! They doing business outside the Filipino Handicraft Market. 1 store 1 sewing machine, is man to sew some more. ![]()

It’s cost RM5 for repair of broken sleeves or shorten the pant. quite expensive ler..My mother joke at me, can bring more cloth here to sell. Maybe I can get very good price for those clothes.
