Tokyo Day 3 : Gotemba Premium Outlet 御殿場プレミアム・アウトレット

By admin | July 5, 2008

Gotemba Premium Outlet 御殿場プレミアム・アウトレット - http://www.premiumoutlets.co.jp/en/gotemba/

We were planning to take bus departure at 1.45pm to Gotemba Premium Outlet after visited to Venetian Glasses Museum. The planning should be perfect because we left the Museum before 1pm and took lunch in a restaurant which just opposite of the museum and bus stop.

We finished the lunch at 1.30pm and immediately moved to bus stop after that. However, we wait until 2pm still has no bus to Gotemba Premium Outlet. CP stopped few bus and check with the bus driver but they just told us didn’t stop at Gotemba. Finally we know that we had wait at the WRONG bus stop! The bus heading to Gotemba is at different bus stop which only few second walk from the one we wait. Stupid us..Should ask people first. :p

We have no choice to take a bus to JR Gotemba Station instead of Gotemba Premier Outlet. Lucky most of the Japan interesting places provide free shuttle bus for their customers. Free shuttle bus is available every 20 minutes from JR Gotemba Station to Gotemba Premier Outlet. We decided to take the Odakyu bus back to Shinjuku Station at JR Gotemba Station before leave to Outlet. We have no time to take train anymore.

I am not a person who likes to shop for branded stuffs; I do not shop much in there. I really not dare to buy when I see those prices. A branded bag which has 50% discount also cost around RM500. I am so sorry I definitely not the buyer. I think my sense on branded items is very bad. I do not even know what is the different. Even you show both bags in front of me I could not differential too.

I only bought a dress and a pant to SQ at OshKosh because SQ has no more cloth to change if we not able to find the washing machine in hotel later. Then we walk around and have our early dinner at the food court. It was very windy that day, our jacket was not able to make us feel warm. Haii

Anyway, the Outlet is very big and really a great place for those who love to shop for branded products. Most of the shops having 50% – 70% discount. The selling price after discount still not cheap for me, but i am sure branded fans will love to shop at there.
