Tokyo Trip Day 1 : Flight From KL – Hong Kong – Tokyo

Cathay Pacific CX720 at 0925 – 1320 (KUL – HK)
Cathay Pacific CX500 at 1500 – 2020 (HK – TOKYO)
Note:
water excess 100ml is allow to enter flight if with young children only. Anyway, water is not a problem after you are in the cabin. You can request from flight attendant anytime. I brought an 1 little water, some fresh milk in small box and hot water in thermo too. Just make sure you told them before scan the luggage.
Flight took off at time. I quickly prepared milk in bottle for SQ and Kiki when I am in cabin. Then just put a side to ready the flight take off. SQ, Kiki and I sit in the same row and fatty at the other raw due to it is a 777-200 airplane that only have 3+3+3 seat. I am in trouble because being a sandwich between SQ and Kiki. Although Fatty does help but Kiki just too climb to me.
I can handle the time flight take off and feed SQ and Kiki milk on time to avoid their ear pain and discomfort but I just can’t guess the right time flight start to landing. Kiki cried badly and refuse to suck milk or eat food when I offered her. I think she really felt uncomfortable when landing. (After that only know that I should feed them milk or sweets 45 mins before landing time)
I like Cathay Pacific kid’s gift pack. They gave SQ and Kiki a kid’s bag as gift which have colour pencil, note book, colouring book, sticker and magnet. SQ & Kiki like it very much. Children breakfast served half hour before adult breakfast. Here was what SQ & Kiki get. SQ took some of the breakfast while Kiki eat nothing but just orange juice.

Arrived Hong Kong Airport at 1pm. Since I do not like to shop so the 2 hours transit time is enough for me to walk from my arrival gate to departure gate. We even have a light lunch in Hong Kong airport which also cost so expensive. Another RM100 gone for 2 sets light lunch.
After boarding I have to repeat the same thing again. Prepare milk for SQ and Kiki. Request flight attendant to fill in water and hot water for us and get ready to be sandwich for SQ & Kiki.

Last time my girl also got coloring set as u mentioned ler…seem no change ler..
I love their kids meal set too, look attractive compare to adult set.

I like their kids meal just the taste is abit tasteless. Anyway it just right for kids. haha

Hi! I bump into your site while researching about my coming trip to Japan.
I was wondering if you could tell me how long did the whole transit process took? Because I found out that I only have 50 minutes in between my arrival in HK and departure from HK to Japan, and it’s starting to make me worry. I’m a first time flier. (^_^;)

Sorry for late reply. :p
If not mistake I took about 20 – 30 mins from the landing gate to the departure gate, included the time waiting for my baby stroller in landing gate and ask for direction in counter.
You don’t ned to check in again in the Hong Kong Airport. Just go direct to the transit hall will do. Yeap..Remember to check the gate no in screen oh..
I think 50 mins is quite rush as they gather passengers 30 – 45 mins before departure and last call at 15 mins before departure. Anyway, You should able to make reach there within 30 mins, just save time to go toilet and shopping lor..no time for it.

I see… Yeah we won’t be shopping around since we need to save as much money as possible.
So I guess 50 minutes is rush but still can make it huh?
