Autum08 Day 2 : Nara Park & Deer
By admin | January 19, 2009
- Do Tai Ji (東大寺) – http://www.todaiji.or.jp
- Nara Park 奈良公園 – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nara_Park
We have to walk again right after the late lunch. Although I was tired like hell but still have to walk. Pity my legs have to keep walking no matter how they complaint :p
I have no idea where should we go in Nara actually. I only read that there are many deer in Nara, but I have no idea where to find those deer at all. However, I did hear about Nara Park (奈良公園), so we just heading to Nara Park that have to walk 20 – 25 minutes. No idea we are walking too slowly or it is really far… We also stop at the [興福寺]and [三重塔] to take some photos.

We arrived Nara Park and have a walk there. I though I could see deer everywhere when reached Nara Park. Quite disappointed that I saw less than 10 deer in the garden, some of them are in the railings and some are sleeping outside the railings, which I thought they are false deer. So sad because no deer is chasing us, even I dig out 10,000 Yen note they also no bother me. Hehe..I am just kidding, do it at your own risk lor.

We didn’t manage to reach the Do Tai Ji (東大寺) at all. Our legs seem like no longer belong to us and out of control already. They were too tire and refused to walk further already.
Another reason was it might be too late for us to visit the Do Tai Ji (東大寺). One the time we reach there already might already is 4.00pm.Their closing time is 4.30pm, what could we do for the half hour? Therefore, we better save our energy and turn back.
