Autumn Day 7 : Shinkansen To Tokyo
By admin | June 22, 2009
Woke up in the early morning because we have to rush train and go to Tokyo today. We already checked out at yesterday night because the hostel staff wouldn’t be around until 7am. We have to leave the hostel at 6.30am, therefore, we decided to check out early at yesterday night. Before we sleep, we just passed back the room key to the receptionist and get the refund of 1,000 Yen deposit.
As what we planned, woke up at 5.30am and get everything ready to Osaka Station at 6.30am. It was already 6.45am when we reached Osaka Station. Bought the Shinkasen ticket at the counter and still have another 15 mins to go. I could not feel the different speed of Shinkasen and other Train actually. I was imagine that I could heard the “foo-foo” wind sound and the bullet train was really move like bullet, but I felt nothing at all..

Anyway, The bullet train took us 2 and half hours to reach Tokyo only. Sure it is super fast if compare to bus! 7 hours vs 3 hours, we saved few hours but paid few thousand yen more for the fare.

Bullet train’s speed like aeroplane, seat also look like aeroplan. We have a good short sleep there.
