Autumn Day 8 : Akihabara Capsule Hotel

Staying in Capsule Hotel surely is a great experience for us! We planned this stay as must try in this Japan trip. I searching up and down then only discover this capsule hotel which located in Akihabara is safe for lady! Most of the capsule hotel is for man only and I think is not safe enough for lady.

We are giving 3 keys when checked in. One is the key for 8th floor locker, 8th floor main door and 10th floor main key.


Akihabara Capsule Inn have 3 lady floor at the top of building, they are provided the safety we needed. Rate per person is not cheap, we paid 3,000Yen each. It would be great if we could get the room at 10th floor, that are only 4 capsule in the 10th floor, is available for group capsules and for lady only. But too bad we are too late, it already full booked on the date we wanted.

Reached 8th floor, we walked to the locker to store our bad first. Teethbrush, toothpaste and towel is provided inside the locker. Then open a main door with key to enter the big room.

Here what us see after open the main door. There are upper and lower capsule room/bed? I was very curious how we climb up and open upper door(window?) and the same time and then go in? There are no space to open the bed’s door at all! There is only a curtain to cover the main entrance. :lol:

After searching up and down and think like siao…then only we discover that the capsule has no door/ window at all!! We all laugh like no tomorrow and finally now how to climb into the upper capsule room.

The capsule room is tiny but just right for a person to sit inside and lying down to sleep. You still have some space to roll when sleeping but  Of course impossible to stand inside lor..:lol: I even surf net with my laptop inside and watching TV also.

Overall the surrounding of this capsule inn is very clean and nice. And I am sleep very weel in the capsule bed as well. Nice experience!
