Autumn08 Day 1 : Arrived Hotel SunPlaza 2 Osaka

It was already 10.15pm when we arrived動物園前(DoBuTsuen-Mae) eki. Lucky, the hotel was quite easy to find. It just 2 – 3 mins to arrive the hotel from Subway exit No. 2.

We managed to check in Hotel SunPlaza 2 at the time of 10.30pm. We paid 1,000yen as deposit when check in and the deposit will only refund when check out. Here…the check out for us is return the room key to them. Counter will be open from 7.00am – 11.30pm only. We have to depart to Kyoto at the early morning, therefore we have to check out and return the key to get back the deposit by tonight.

We quickly back to home and pack our luggage again because we going to leave the siao big luggage in this hotel and back on the 4th day. Time just right, I managed to return the key and get back my deposit plus send my big luggage to the counter to keep before 11.30pm.

Let’s talk about this hotel now. This hotel offer extremely cheap rate, so I do not have much expectation on facilities. But never know it does not provides internet connection! This was the only out of my expectation and make me quite hassle on the coming day. (Will update in later post)

I booked a bedroom for 3 persons at 3,300yen! Damn cheap, right? :lol: Email them to request for lady floor non-smoking room but they told me all room in lady floor is for single only. Well, never mind. Lucky they do arrange a non-smoking room to us which that I read online must request else will have a damn strong smoke smell room..

Look at the pictures..just right to place 2 and half tatami. In addition, the only place leave is the 6 inch at top and bottom of the tatami between TV and wall, and also the 2” x 2” at door entrance. Itu saja…

We have to take bath at ground floor. They have 2 bathrooms for female. I feel like taking bath in ship in the bathroom, don’t know why they bathroom would float one..Maybe that is the technique to make people not occupied bathroom long time? I feel like finish bathing as soon as I could and get out from there, if not I think I might faith inside.

I couldn’t sleep well at the first night. There was too much noise made by the window due to quite windy. Moreover, the weather was damn cold! I think should be around 5 – 7ºc at night.

p/s : hotel’s front door closed at 12am and open at 6am. Couldn’t in or out within these hours. Now only I realize the problem, what if happening fire? Where should we run? Opps..touch wood :p
