Autumn08 Day 2 : Fushimi Inari 伏見稻荷

By admin | January 8, 2009

Our itinerary is kind of pack today. After yummy breakfast, we started our journey to first visit location. We took JR train from Kyoto station to伏見稻荷(FuShiMi-Inari). 千本鳥居was what we plan visit, of course also Fushimi Inaritaisya Temple. This was the first place I saw red leaves. Although the red leaves was not as much as I expected but it is very beauty too.

We took quite many photos with the don-no-how-many shrines there. In fact, there are sooo many shrines, you could snap everywhere on the way climb up to hill. Not necessary stop at the shrine starter and keep snapping photos like us! hehe…There usually many peoples waiting to snap photos at the beginning of shrines. I felt that photo capture inside the long shrines way are the most beautiful. But, flashgun must be used lor.

We have very good feeling because of the sightseeing and cold weather. Although we have to climb up to hill like no tomorrow. Haha…So shame to tell that we did not finish the journey. We only manage to climb up to 奥社奉拝所. Rest and look around for a while then turn back already.
