Autumn08 Day 2 : HiGaShiYaMa Ivy Hotel

The way after get down from Tax to Hotel is very dark. I am sure everyone will scare if he / she are first time there. Three of us were scared too. We pull our luggage and walked damn fast. :lol:

We felt safe after reached the hotel. However, I was “huh” after enter the hotel and saw the stair! Oh my…the lobby is at first floor and they do not have lift! :sad: Although we did not bring the huge luggage which store at Osaka, but also feel tire to move our not so big luggage go up stair.

Meet the staff at lobby. We signed the tenancy agreement and paid all the rental. Then he brings us to our room. I booked a room for 3 persons, which actually could fit 4 persons. The room is pretty nice. 2 double dorm beds with one at below is sofa. Bathroom is attached in room. There is a mini kitchen with microwave, kettle, refrigerant and other necessaries item such as bowl, glass, spoon, plate and knife. This apartment is definitely worth to stay in Kyoto. Cheap but clean and nice.

Washing machine is free to use at down stair that is quite dark and scary if you go at night, :lol: We paid 100 yen to buy the detergent as we forgot to bring our own. It is ok lah..100 yen for 2 packs can use for 2 times already.
It is consider convenient because the bus stop just 3 – 5 mins walk from hotel. So far, I only went to the Sunrise convenient shop and didn’t manage to explore nearby. I couldn’t find the 100Yen shop nearby there that I read in Forum too..*sign*

Sorry I totally forgot to take our hotel photos! Below is the photo I grabbed from their website. Our room is exactly the same show in photo. We total paid 21,600Yen for 4 days 3 nights stay.
