Summer Trip : Hong Kong Octopus Pass

By admin | November 6, 2009

We checked out in the early morning and store our luggage in the hotel before go out for Enchanted Garden breakfast at Disneyland Hotel. We would back to collect luggage at late afternoon only.

I also bought Octopus pass at Disneyland Station and gave them before went into Disneyland. I purchased Adult pass at HKD150 each included HKD50 deposit and HKD100 usage. Kid (3 – 11) and Senior (65 and above) pass at HKD70 + HKD50 topup, totally is HKD120 included HKD50 deposit and HKD70 usage. I didn’t bought for Kiki, I only carried her to go pass the gate. However, I bought for SQ because do not want to get problem like CP does. hehe… She told me kena tahan by staff there and requested her to buy pass for kw who is not eligible for free ride.

The colour of card is different according to the type. I saw many people using senior and kid pass actually, I saw from the entrance gate system showed senior/kid fare after they touch the system. Of course they are clever enough didn’t show the color but keep it in wallet to touch, so that no people saw what kind of pass they are using. haha..I should buy senior pass for my mother also even she not 65 yet.

Fare charged into Octopus pass is abit cheaper than individual ticket. And if the remaining balance insufficient to cover the payment of transaction, it still can used one time only up to HKD35, which will deduct from the deposit when cancel the pass.
