Sumemr Trip Day 1 : Custom Check in Gold Coast

Our flight arrived at 8.30am due to late depart yesterday night. Processing of custom check is quite slow today, maybe due to many passengers. Well, I do not lah.. We are last batch of passenger to go thru passport checkpoint, because Fatty and Lena’s husband kena blocked. Both of them questioning by custom official, I think is because of the passport their passport is too new,. Lena’s hubby just renew passport last month and Fatty’s passport used one time only and renewed last year only. Maybe that is the reason kena suspect he is “jump airplane” to Australia? haha
Fatty managed to settle fast by answer some question but Lena’s husband was not lucky enough. He kena asked for quite long time and I have to go there “rescue” him.haha…Anyway, I am not scare of that as I already prepared well for it. The itinerary booklet that I prepared already is the best to proof we are coming for vacation. The official asked some question such as where we going now? By what transport? Where to visit? How long we stay in Australia. Moreover, the booking confirmation of hotel, she already record down all three hotels that we booked and how many days we stay there. Then, just photocopy Lena’s hubby passport and let us go already.
Then is queue for luggage check up. The queue is long too because their custom official very careful ah.. First, they separate us into group with and without declaration. Of course, we are in declaration group as I read that must declare even you just bring a little bit food or skin care products. Do not try luck; they do not like people cheating. If they found you no declare for the items bring in, you might blocked by them and refuse to let you in Australia. :p
Our turn to check luggage, the custom official requested us to open the luggage. They request all people have declaration to open luggage and check. Then I told him I bring some medication, skin care products and instant food. The official just takes and looks at some of the item, but they are very concern on the instant Noodle I think. He took the Noodle cup and check on its ingredient! Wow…
Then… nothing happen liao.. PAST.. We finally go through the custom at 9.30am.
