Summer Trip Day 6 : Dinner at The Captain Table

By admin | April 30, 2010

We are having a 100% western food dinner for today. Lena complaints that she no chance to taste the local western food but only burger in this trip. So tonight must have something nice as dinner.

Lena and her hubby suggested the Captain Table Restaurant that located at Orchid Ave, Surfers Paradise. It just few minutes away from our hotel, so we just have to walk over there.

Two mugs of beers.

Half garlic Lobster and Sirloin steak value Combo at AUD29.80. Sauce of lobster taste good when mixed with rice, however the lobster and sirloin steak itself was not as good as we expected. So so only.

My Chilli sand crab at AUD26.50. There is some rice covered by the rice. I was wrongly saw sand crab as mug crab, so I ordered it! silly me. Surprisingly this taste great although the sand crab was not what I wanted, especially the sauce, it is perfectly to serve with rice.

Lena’s Smoked Salmon Fettucine at AUD16.50. A bit too salty but overall taste is quite nice.

Here are the bill… expensive but still not the most expensive meal we have in Gold Coast. We become crazy tomorrow and wanted to spend all the money! So dare to eat tomorrow!

Btw, we have too many burger and fast food last few days. It help us saved quite many but also make us scare of having burger again. So we no longer eat according to the price but is eat whatever we wanted starting tomorrow.Lucky it is also the last day in Gold Coast d, if not our pocket would bleeding liao..
