Summer Trip Day 8 : Return Flight From Gold Coast to Kuala Lumpur

I wake up at 5.18am but continue to sleep after brush teeth, changed clothing and packed final things in luggage. Around 6.00am Lena couple already came to our room and we just chitchat for awhile and went down to lobby 10 minutes after.
Check out and confirmed the taxi booking just done in 5 minutes time. And we waiting the taxi at the hotel entrance. The taxi is late for a minute. Haha.. Taxi fare from Vibe Hotel to Coolangatta Airport took about 35 – 40 minutes, it cost us AUD54.10.
It was only 6.50am went we are there. Anyway, we check in our luggage and get the boarding pass immediately. Each of us have two luggage to check in. Lena’s luggage weight around 28kgs and my luggage just right at 30 kgs, hard cover luggage is 22.2kgs and soft backpack is 7.8kgs.
We also hand carry two bags of chips. Siao.. they must be curious why we bought so many chips back to Malaysia. Haha.. nothing special, just because I have nothing to buy so just simply buy some snack for family members.
Then we have brekfast after past the “FIRST” custom checking. Omelette with bread and Bacon, Egg hotdog with coffee already cost us AUD 26.00. Well, no convert to RM then everything is cheap. :p The omelette taste very good. I like it very much. Its much better than the bacon hotdog.
After breakfast we bought two bottles of water and was thinking to bring into flight. However, when we walk to the gate only realize that there is another custom checking point! So, we could not bring in any water, so force to drink all before enter. Actually I make a mistake also. The bottled we bought is AUD3.00 each actually is much expensive than buy in flight. Air Asia is selling them at RM4.00 oer bottle only! And I paid RM9.00 in AUD. Aiyo…
Tasteless Vegetarian Pasta that we claimed at 1.00pm Malaysia time. I think morning flight is better than night flight if you take AirAsia X. At least I do not have to sleep with that extremely narrow seat but can do other things like watch movie with my laptop and draft my travelogue post.
Flight arrived Malaysia at 2.55pm. Almost 30 minutes early than estimate arrival time.
